Self-administered courses
Self-administered courses are a flexible learning modality that allows participants to develop activities and assessments individually, at their own pace and in a self-taught environment. This structure provides the freedom to start the course whenever they wish, within the established deadlines, and to obtain accreditation, it is necessary to complete and pass all activities in the designated time, which is generally the duration of one semester.
Although a specific teacher is not assigned to these courses, participants have monitoring and resolution of specific doubts related to the content of the course. This encourages a self-manageable learning experience, where each student can plan their study according to their needs and schedules.
To enroll in self-administered courses, interested parties must complete a registration form. Registration takes place on Fridays at 4 pm each week, and access to the course is enabled from the following Monday. This modality allows participants to organize and begin their learning in an agile way.
Courses are delivered through the Blackboard platform and remain available throughout the current semester, facilitating continued access to material and activities. In addition, two specific cuts are established for the issuance of certificates of participation, as detailed in the corresponding section on the steps to generate the certificate within each course.
The offer of self-administered courses is constantly evolving, so participants are invited to regularly consult the new options available and take advantage of this modality that promotes autonomous learning adapted to the needs of each student.
