Who graduates from the Engineering educational program in Agronomy and Zootechnics may work in it scope of livestock activity at the local, state, and state level regional, national and international in activities professionals from the public, private and agricultural sectors as a social independent professional:

  • Promotion and inspection of livestock activity
  • Insurers in the livestock area
  • Evaluation of livestock projects in financing programs

Train undergraduate professionals in the area of livestock sciences who promote animal production in a sustainable manner and with high performance, promoting the socioeconomic development of the country.

Implement efficient feeding programs that allow optimal performance of animals of zootechnical interest.

Develop reproductive management and genetic improvement procedures that increase productive efficiency.

Implement adequate management of productive livestock companies through the formulation, analysis and interpretation of record bases of production units and the strengthening of management skills.

Develop procedures in accordance with current regulations in force, to offer safe and quality livestock products.

  • Implement efficient and innovative food programs, based on nutritional characteristics of foods and physiology of animals, to achieve the optimal performance of animals of zootechnical interest, with a supportive, honest attitude and respect for animals and the environment.
  • Develop reproductive management procedures and animal genetic improvement, through the application of reproductive biotechnology and breeding techniques cutting-edge genetics, to increase the productive efficiency of the different ones animal species of zootechnical interest, considering animal welfare, with attitude analytical and responsible.
  • Employ sustainable practices in forage production and resource management natural, through the adoption of sustainable strategies, to contribute to the production is profitable and environmentally responsible, with a critical and high attitude environmental awareness.
  • Develop processes in products of animal origin, in accordance with standards and official internationally standardized guidelines to offer products harmless and quality, with a methodical, objective and honest attitude.
  • Implement biosafety measures to prevent the introduction of diseases zoosanitary, through the adequate development of zootechnical management processes, adhered to animal welfare standards, with an ethical and collaborative attitude.
  • Design entrepreneurship strategies, through the use of administrative and communication tools, to strengthen the business culture of the agricultural sector, with a proactive attitude and leadership.
  • In addition, you must demonstrate English proficiency at A2 level.
